Starting June 20th, our schedule will be as follows:
Monday morning--open the topic box (idea provided by dear sis-in-law, Nnnnn). How exciting for the kids to see what topic we'll cover that week. Inside the box are: books, CDs, movies, puppets, crafts or whatever is appropriate for the topic. In addition, each girl will have a special notepad and pencil to take "notes" (or to draw picutres) of the topic. These journaling notebook will be kept in the box, they aren't free-drawing paper.
7:30--Wake up to music or to a story.
7:45/8:00--Breakfast time: if you want breakfast, your bed must be made (as is age-appropriate)
8:45--Dressed
9:00 (or 10:00 depending on the day)--Babysitter arrives! Mommy does classwork or other such tasks.
12:00--Lunchtime: Mommy is back. If you want lunch, the main living areas must be cleared of toys/games/whatever.
1:00--Quite time/naptime. Mommy will work with the pre-readers on their "100 Easy Lessons."
2:30--Flip Flop Scholar School
3:30--Pool time!
5:30--Chaos (am I right, moms?) Maybe we'll try to slip some Spanish lessons in at this time.
6:00--Dinner
7:00--Flip Flop Scholar book re-read with Dad.
7:45--Bed (ha, you don't believe that do you? Yeah, neither do I, but I can dream, right?)
